Fighting Fit

We are in the process of stepping up the pace and trying to become faster. With this additional effort, we will become fitter too. Tonight we will push our fitness even further as we rehearse the 9 'A' combinations.

It is important in combat that we have more than one technique that can be delivered both fast and fluidly. These combinations make up part of our grading syllabus and were designed to improve sparring and kumite. These fighting sequences can also be adapted for use in Ippon Kumite. (In the new year we'll move on to the B and C combos).

Tonight we will finish with some padwork. Don't forget that we now have a Friday class in place to focus on kata and bunkai.
